This dress is all about ladybirds, it’s cheerful and full of charm. The crisp white front panel is hand smocked and embroidered with red ladybirds, each one perfectly stitched to bring a smile.
The jeans blue and white striped fabric gives a classic, summery feel, while the puffed sleeves and peter pan collar, both trimmed with bright red piping, bring the whole look together beautifully. Light, playful and full of personality, this is a true favourite for sunny days and adventures outdoors.
Our dresses are lined in cotton to create a perfect flare for twirling and dancing like everybody’s watching. The Ladybird has fabric covered buttons that fasten at the back and an attached sash tie at the waist (12 months+), which is a good test for the best bow-tier in the family.

Our clothes are designed for children to explore and have fun in! All our items can be machine washed on a delicate cycle at 30°C, ideally inside out to protect the smocking and embroidery. Alternatively you can hand wash them, but please do not soak, bleach, rub or wring the item. We recommend line drying, and not using a tumble dryer.
For our silk dresses, we recommend dry cleaning. Please note that these consist of 100% raw silk, and that slight imperfections may occur as it is a natural fabric.
Please note that most of our items are smocked and embroidered by hand, and therefore slight variations in the exact design can occur. We are proud of our skilled craftspeople and to be a brand that values the beautiful traditional craft of smocking and embroidery.
